Drop Piece Technique

In this technique the practitioners use a specialised adjusting table that features different sections that can be raised by about 2 to 5 centimetres. The chiropractor will determine which part or section of the drop table will be used, corresponding to the specific area of the spine that requires an adjustment. A particular section of the table is slightly raised, then the tension is adjusted based on the body weight of the patient. The Chiropractor will then apply a small quick thrust to the spinal segment to be adjusted, allowing the table section to drop back into place creating a comfortable and therapeutic stretch to the ligaments and muscles of the spinal joint.
